Jean Harlow (1911-1937) was an American actress who was one of America's first sex symbols. She started in the end of the Silent Era, and reached fame opposite James Cagney in Public Enemy in 1931. She moved over to MGM, and in a few years was one of the highest-drawing people in Hollywood.
Harlow tragically died at the age of 26. Despite many rumors and urban legends, the cause of her death was kidney failure.
